Our Mission
At The Center of Early Learning & Childcare, our mission is to build firm foundations by providing the highest-quality learning experience for our children, in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, guided by best practices and biblical values.
Our Programs
Infants( 8 weeks-12M) Our cozy infant room is designed for your little ones' early milestones. Our caring, experienced staff provide personalized attention; fostering a sense of security, engagement, and learning. With age appropriate toys, activities, and a gentle daily routine, we support your baby's development in a place that feels like a second home.
Our infant room is full-time only.
Young Toddlers(12-24M): This room is designed to promote your child's exploration and discovery while developing motor skills.
Older Toddlers:
This room is designed to support your child's developing creativity, social-emotional intelligence and enhance large and fine motor skills. Children will have guided learning through Keystone Stars approved Curriculum.
Preschool: In this class, we will focus on kindergarten readiness including academic, social-emotional, and everyday skills.
Before & After Care ( School Aged):
We will provide a supportive and fluid learning space for your child. This includes, but is not limited to, providing help with homework, outside play, and a space to socialize and make friends!

Our History
The Inception of The Center began when a local mom ( Sarah Yates- Owner) experienced a life changing event that pulled her from her business career. Knowing that her path was being redirected, she decided to combine her love of children and business to offer the community of Stewartstown (and surrounding areas) something that was missing--access to childcare. Not only access to childcare, but access to high- quality childcare.
Sarah and her team are committed to providing the children and families of the community a high-quality learning experience, with the goal of building firm foundations for our children's future.

Our team is made up of highly trained and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. We cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and we are always looking for ways to enhance our services and better meet the needs of the families we serve.

Our Facility
Our Facility
Located in Stewartstown Square, we are perfect for both the Maryland, and York/ Harrisburg commuters. Our fully renovated 3200 sqft building offers a new, clean feel, including soft and uncluttered spaces. Equipped with security cameras in every room- as well as our outdoor play area, we let nothing go unmonitored. Our outside play area is fenced in and offers plenty of space to run and play.
